In addition to the Barea Mahamasina Stadium, the Elgeco Plus Stadium located at the By-pass is the second site intended to host football matches during the 11^th edition of the Indian Ocean Islands Games which will take place in Madagascar.

The President of Republic of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina held an opening ceremony for the newly built central stand in the Elgeco Plus Stadium on August 10, 2023.

With a capacity of 4750 spectators, this stand is equipped with a box for guests as well as standard changing rooms for the players, a cinema projection rooms so that they can watch the matches or be entertained. An escalator and an elevator have also been installed there to facilitate the movement of visitor. Thanks to the infrastructure that has been put in place, the Elgeco Plus stadiun now meets the standards imposed by CAF and FIFA and can host international competitions.

President Andry Rajoelina congratulated the CEO of Elgeco Plus, Alfred Randriamanampisoa for this great achievement which, according to him, is not only for the benefit of the club but of all football fans.
